Sushi Guides Almost Here

At last, sustainable sushi cards are on the way!

The three new cards, similar to the current seafood guides, will differentiate between the eco and the no-no, will be officially unveiled Oct. 22, and will be available from then on at the websites of Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Blue Ocean Institute and the Environmental Defense Fund.

I also picked up a new term from the LA Times Greenspace blog that reported the sushi cards -- "fish-huggers."

I admit it, I'm a fish-hugger -- are you?
